Their founders were tech savvy entrepreneurs before Rep Rap (the birth of much of the technology we use for 3D printing) was conceived. A father and son team had formed a mobile technology company located in the Chicago suburbs mostly as a hobby. They focused on creating products that could be used during 3D printing to clean up the portions that were added for structural integrity during the 3D print.
